The German book Homo mythicus. Mythische Identitätsmuster (Homo mythicus. Mythic structures of identity) was edited by Trocha and Wałowski and published with Frank & Timme, Berlin, 2013. The book chapters discuss the functions and origins of myth in contemporary society. My chapter ‘Mythostruktion im Liverollenspiel’ (Construction of myth in live action role play) reflects on how larp practices create shared experiences with mythic elements. A conference on the topic and the book were funded by the Zielona Góra University, Poland. The title page shows Gilgamesh, a detail, I am personally very happy about.
